Paul Parrish poses for a portrait during a training session for his Arch to Arc triathlon attempt in Bray southern England May 11, 2014. The Arch to Arc Triathlon is billed as the hardest triathlon in the world. It is an ultra-distance event starting with an 87 mile run from Marble Arch in London, England to Dover on the coast. The triathlete then has to complete a cross-channel swim to the French coast ( a minimum of 21 miles), before finishing with a 180 mile cycle from Calais to the Arch de Triomphe in Paris, France. Paul Parrish attempted the event at 49, becoming the oldest man to successfully finish the event in 84 hours and 44 mins.
